Senior Arborist

We’re looking for a Senior Arborist who brings strong technical ability, calm leadership on site, and a genuine passion for raising standards. You’ll be a role model for the climbing team, a trusted pair of hands for complex operations, and a key part of developing the next generation. 

This is a role with real influence — where your experience matters and your voice helps shape the culture. 

• Lead advanced climbing operations safely and efficiently 
• Deliver high‑quality reductions, dismantles, rigging and technical works 
• Mentor and support less experienced arborists 
• Uphold best practice on every site — safety, housekeeping, professionalism 
• Contribute to daily briefings and risk assessments 
• Work closely with Crew Leaders to prepare for complex jobs 
• Assist with equipment checks and maintaining kit standards 
• Represent the business confidently with clients and contractors 

• Significant experience as a climbing Arborist 
• Strong technical skills in advanced rigging, aerial rescue, dismantles 
• NPTC/LANTRA tickets (CS30/31/38/39 essential; 41 desirable) 
• A strong safety mindset and pride in professional standards 
• Excellent communication and calm leadership 
• Desire to mentor others and help lift the whole team 
• A proactive approach — you spot what needs doing and act
