This is also in relation to our IS0 14001 award, the international standard for Environmental Management which sets out businesses requirements for recycling, sustainability and protecting the environment. This certification is a prestigious award with only 5% of all UK businesses achieving it.

Tree surgery and general landscape maintenance generates a large amount of green waste. All of our green waste is recycled through a variety of means:

  • Processing of timber into: firewood, carvings, fence posts and other building materials

  • Chipping of green waste and supplying to power stations for biomass energy production

  • Composting for supply to local, private and commercial clients as mulch
